The Fair Go goes out the window
With the very best of intentions, our Federal and State parliamentarians, controlled to a large extent by Big Business lobbyists and donors, have lost the ability to govern effectively.
They have too many people and too little tax money to meet the needs of the population.
Can’t please everyone
It is sad but true that it is rarely possible to please everyone. There are some really good MPs on all sides of the political spectrum. But in total they have mostly, over the past 30 years, increased the population and decreased the tax rates, to win donations and votes. Now they cannot please very many voters at all.
Who to elect in 2027 and 2028?
It really does not matter that much who we vote for at the next election. What matter is what we persuade our existing parliament to do from now until then and what we persuade the next parliament to do in order to enjoy our vote at the end of that parliamentary term.
Votergrams
Votergrams give us all the opportunity to help by sharing with all MPs what we believe needs to be done and the reason we see as making it necessary. Votergrams are now super-inexpensive with as many Votergrams as you wish to send during a one year $95 subscription. 10 Votergrams a year cost you $9.50 each time you send your message to every MP. Last time that happened was 1986.
Voters Network
Voters.au allows each of us to join with like-minded voters to build campaign numbers and to rate every MP in relation to how we feel they are performing. We all learn from feedback what we can do better, what we have done wrong and what we have done well.
Credit where credit is due
One thing that rarely happens to MPs is to be thanked for what they have done well. For every wrong step they make the likelihood is that they will have done at least 10 things well. When they do what you like please thank them
